Youth on the EU Eastern Enlargement - Georgia

Hey there!

Join us this summer in Georgia from 15–19 July 2025 for an exciting international seminar that brings together 51 young people (ages 18–30) and supporting stakeholders to explore one of the most important topics shaping Europe today: EU Eastern Enlargement.

This seminar is the first of two Erasmus+ funded mobilities and will focus on the question: What does EU enlargement mean for countries like Georgia—and for young people like you? Over five days, you’ll dive into engaging sessions including expert talks, interactive discussions, meet-ups with decision-makers, and visits to key institutions. The second seminar will take place in Albania in 11-14 October 2025, continuing the conversation in the Western Balkans. Please note that while participation in both seminars is not mandatory, those who take part in the Georgia mobility may be given priority for selection in the Albania seminar. Participation in the Georgia seminar alone is absolutely welcomed.

You’ll also get the chance to simulate real EU accession negotiations, stepping into the shoes of diplomats and decision-makers to understand the challenges and opportunities of joining the EU. Beyond the workshops and talks, we’ll have a vibrant cultural and social program to help you connect with peers from across Europe and beyond.

This project is organized by JEF Spain, European Youth International, JEF Georgia, Umbrella, JEF Albania, and Pertej Barrierave. Therefore, participants must reside in Spain, Denmark, Georgia, or Albania to be eligible.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: 18 MAY 2025
